Darrell Edwards

Darrell Eugene Edwards was born on October 16, 1953 to Raymond Edwards and Thresser Johnson, in Des Moines, IA. He attended school in the Des Moines Public School District and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School.



Along life's journey, Darrell met the love of his life, Cindy. Darrell dates and courted her until she accepted his hand in marriage.



Darrell interests included working on cars, cheering on his Chicago Bears and cooking. He will be remembered for his sense of style and well maintained hair. Above all, Darrell was a family man who loved time with his family. To his nieces and nephews, he was the favorite uncle who always gave them candy.



On April 21th Darrell answered the Master's call to go from labor to reward. He was greeted on the other side by his father, Raymond; brother, Raymond Jr.; aunts, Jessie Martin, Mattie Cutright, Berniece Edwards and Ethel Edwards and uncles, Cecil, Paul Jr., and James Johnson and Louis Cutright.



Left to cherish Darrell's memory is his wife, Cindy; mother, Tresser Thomas; sisters, SeRita, Teena and Tracey; aunts and uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
