Deann Louise Scullark Obituary (1954

DeAnn Louise Scullark was born on January 29, 1954 in Marshalltown, IA to John Burton Sr. and Ruth Mowery. Later on in her childhood, The Lord entrusted her upbringing to Charles and Dora Scullark. She was educated in the Waterloo Public School District and graduated from Waterloo East High School. She continued her education at Des Moines Area Community College where she studied to work in the welding industry. DeAnn was blessed with two children, Anthony and Syreeta, whom she loved with all her heart. She worked hard to make sure they were well taken care of. DeAnn loved to have fun. She challenged herself by playing Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. DeAnn also liked to read, fish and draw. She enjoyed listening to old school music and DeAnn was also a member of Rose Temple #33, BOE. On August 21, 2014 DeAnn was called from labor to rest. She was reunited with her birth and adoptive parents; her sister, Margo Williams and brothers, Danny Krubek and Curtis Burton. Left to cherish DeAnn's memory are her children, Anthony Scullark and Syreeta (Frederick) Little; grandchildren, C'Era Daily, Bree (Vastae) Wright, Alysia Wright, Dajha Wright, Mikel Wright, DaiSean Willis, Saiveon Morris, Deonna Moore, Sairvon Morris, Jonah May and Shizeah Morris; great-grandchildren, Breejon Wright and TyAsia Wright; her siblings, Cynthia Burton, John Burton Jr., Susan Kent, Marla (Hershall) Roberts, Carol Davis, and Jennie Watson, her special daughters, Monica Adair and Sophia Morris; her companion, Marcus Rush; godson, Earl Harvey and a host of other relatives and friends.
