Deaconess Marjorie Marie Lowe

Marjorie Marie (Harris) Lowe, the daughter of John and Catherine Harris , was born March 3, 1941 in Baraga, Michigan.

Marie met her husband, Junior at a friends house. It was love at first sight. They courted for about three years before thy got married. Marie left school early to get married; and Junior always wanted her to go back. After raising her three children and making a home, Marie thought she was too old to go back. Marie and Junior were married for 60 years before his passing in 2017..

Marie was employed by Goodwill industries where she worked with people with special needs. She loved her job and the people she worked with. She worked there until her husbands illness forced her to retire.

Marie confessed a hope in Christ and was a long time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She served as a Deaconess, usher and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Pastors Aide.

Marie loved the outdoors. She and Junior went camping and fishing. It would make her day when she could beat him fishing. She loved working with her flowers in the yard.

Marie passed away peacefully on January 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Harris and her husband, Junior.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Joseph Lowe and Junior "Butch" Lowe (Becky), and daughter, Beverly Johnson (Dave); her grandchildren, Jollene, Lisa, Beverly, Tiffanie, Ashley, Angelina and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Charlie , Hendrix, Bo, Robert and Jasmine; her sisters, Roseanne Smith (Albert, Sr.) and Catherine Starks and a host of beloved nieces , nephews and cousins.

Maries quiet, helpful spirit will be missed by all she touched. Visitation (with family present)
