Jamie Ann Clarke was born on June 20, 1985 to her King and Queen James and Donna Green. Jamie was educated in the Des Moines Public School System and graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 2005. Some of the high lights of her high school years were the several awards for creative writing that she earned.

Jamie had a strong work ethic. She was employed by the Des Moines Public School District as a substitute associate at Ruby Van Meter School. Jamie had a passion for working with children who had disabilities. She also worked at Price Chopper as a cashier. Jamies joy for working at Price Chopper was apparent in her outstanding customer service and her willingness to assist her co-workers. It was very obvious to all that she loved her job!

Jamie was a member of Church of God Zion. Jamie and four of her children were baptized on May 20, 2020. Jamie loved God with all of her heart, mind and soul. She followed God faithfully by praying, preaching studying and attending services.

Jamie enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and volleyball. During her free time she would also watch football and basketball games. The Golden States Warriors were her favorite team and Klay Thompson was her favorite player. Jamies admiration for Klay Thompson was not just about his performance on the court, for everyone knew he was her Boo Thang and future husband. She was also an Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Above all Jamie loved her family. She loved her parents with all her heart. She also enjoyed the notion that to them she could do no wrong. As for motherhood, Jamie poured her love and affection into her children with equal if not more intensity. She cherished every moment that she was able to spend time with them and the rest of her family and friends. She also loved cooking. Her baked chicken and Mexican dishes were family favorites. She also spent time reading, writing poetry, bowling and going for walks with her loved ones. She also enjoyed work outs at the gym with her sisters.

On January 22, 2021, Jamies work on this earth was complete as she answered the Masters call to rest. Waiting to greet her in Heaven were her grandparents, Pauline and Elehue Green and Edna Spivey; aunts, Joyce Green and Sharon Green; great grandparents, Audrey and M. C. Crutchfield; cousins, Jason Veasley, Louis Martin, Marlene Matthews, James Herndon and Sonya Green.

Left to cherish Jamies memory are her children, Princess JaeMontierra "Monty" Clarke, her one and only Prince, JaeVontae "Man Man" Rodriguez, Princesses JaeShanay "Nay Nay" Clarke, JaeCiara "Ci Ci" Kabbah, JaeNiyah "Ny Ny" Brantley and Jae Auna "Auna Bae" Brantley; her King and Queen, James and Donna Green; sisters Debra Simmons, Edna "Sugar" Clarke and Angel Clarke; brothers, Johnathan (Jennel) Clarke, William Green and James Clarke; nieces Morianda, Kaprisha, Britney, Tanisha, Jamariah, Jaeliana, Alan, and AChiyah; nephews, Tre, TaeQuan, Taeveon, and Julian; great-nephews, Karter, Landon and Kyrie; special cousin whom she dearly loved, Carolina Herndon; sister from another mother, Torri Langford; best friend whom she loved dearly, Mikiesha Bell and a host of other relatives and friends.
