John Walter Anderson

John Anderson, 73, passed away on April 30, 2019.

John was born November 7,1945 in Des Moines to Alex Henry Paul Anderson and Zadiee Francis (Fox) Anderson. He attended school in Des Moines. After graduation John enlisted in the Air Force. In the service John excelled in training school and became an Auto Pilot Technician. After his honorable discharge, John came home and was employed as a traveling sales person. He sold all kinds of things. He liked to 'tinker' in his workshop and John collected lots of things including 'Gone with the Wind Plates' and specialty beer cans. He loved to play computer games and was a huge Facebook fan. He had hundreds of friends that he would chat with.

In 2008, John married Rebecca Sue Anderson. While they didn't have children in the traditional sense, they had 'furbabies' of different persuasions. John and Rebecca loved to travel. Sadly, Rebecca passed away in 2018.

John is survived by his brother, Jim Anderson; his nieces, Michelle (Kevin ) Scheel, Amanda (Jayson) Ramsey and Stacy ( Edgar) Salazar, 15 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew and 1 great-great niece. Graveside Service
