Karen Sue Miller

Karen Sue Miller began her journey through life on the 15th day of February, 1965. She was the fifth child born to Audrey Mae (Miller) Bibbins and Bruce Franklin Miller. The sister of Franklin, Andrea, Dennis and Lori.

Karen was educated in the Des Moines Public School System and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She continued her education at the University of Iowa. After school Karen worked several jobs but spent the majority of her career at the Wittern group.

Along lifes path Karen met Mr. Eric Tullis. The two shared life and love for over 30 years. From this union a son was born, Rakim Shareef Tullis. Karen and Eric also shared the privilege of caring for their nephew, Rashad Tullis.

Karen loved her family! She was more of a second mother than an aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. All of them would say "Aunt Kay Kay was the best". She was always willing to help anyone in need and if she couldn't do it herself, she knew someone that could.

Besides caring for her family, Karen wanted JUSTICE FOR ALL! She was always ready to stand up for the rights of others. She also enjoyed sports, music and playing cards. Particularly pinochle and bid whist. No matter what your bid was, K.K. was going to out bid you.

Karen passed away on March 10, 2018. She was preceded Bruce Miller. Karen leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life, Eric; son, Rashad; siblings, Franklin (Darnis) Miller, Andrea Miller, Dennis (Marcy) Miller and Lori Miller; mother, Audrey Bibbins; nieces and nephews, Octavia Miller, Sierra Miller, DeAngelo Miller, Caleb Igue, Rashad Tullis, Dmir Miller, Kenyon Miller, Tina Miller, Tavion Miller, Aria Tullis and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
