Pamela Louise Woods

Pamela Louise Woods passed away on October 3, 2020 . She was 70 years old. No services are planned at this time.

Pamela was born September 10, 1950 to Hollis Gaines and Claudia Daye in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her primary education, graduating from North High School. Pamela would later work for the school district as a cook.

After working hard for so many years, Pamela settled into retirement, watching her grandchildren, playing cards and relaxing. You could get her to fix her beloved dressing for family gatherings, but she generally kept to herself, loving on her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

Pamela was preceded in death by her daughter, Shiwannie Woods, parents and her brothers, Mitchell, Bill and Lonnie Gaines.

Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, DeWight and Craig Gaines; children: Jerry Berry, Jr., Marr Genea Berry, and Jamal Woods; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren along with extended family members and numerous friends.
