Shawn Dae

Shawn Donnelle Dae was born on July 9, 1975 to Clarence Steele and Patricia Morgan, in New York City, NY.



Along life's journey Shawn met Myka Rollen. He wooed her until he asked for her hand and marriage and she accepted. Shawn was blessed with six children whom he loved dearly, Shawneisha, Zhane', Kiana, Shawn Jr., Xzander and Xzavier. He not only loved and cherished his own children but all children.



An artist in several different genres, Shawn was a gifted poet, writer and artist. He could also create delectable masterpieces in the kitchen; as he was a skilled chef as well. Shawn's other interests included listening to music; watching baseball games and cheering for his New York Giants every football season.



On July 20, 2016 Shawn stepped out of time into eternity. He was reunited on the other side by his father, Clarence Steele; grandmother, Patricia Morgan and aunt, Kay Kay.



Left to cherish Shawn's memory are his wife, Myka Dae; his children, Shawneisha, Zhane, Kiana, Shawn Jr., Xzander, Xzavier; his mother Patricia Morgan; siblings, Doneisha Whorley, Christina Steele, Sharika Steele, William Morgan and a host of other relatives and friends.
