Catherine Elizabeth 'Tweedie' Lee

Catherine Elizabeth "Tweedie" Lee was born to Ray and Rozetta Lee on July 2, 1955, in Des Moines IA. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School System and graduated from East High School.

Tweedie was baptized at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Tweedie was a day care provider before her accident. She was feisty and funny always with a joke or smart remark. She wasn't afraid of anything and would give you a good fight if you messed with one of her loved ones. She thought she could run her business and yours. She loved talking on the phone, watching crime shows and movies. And Tweedie always had a stash of candy for her nieces and nephews.

Early in the morning on Monday, June 3, 2013 Tweedie stepped from time into eternity, when she answered the Master's call to rest. She was 57 years old. Waiting to welcome her were her parents, Ray and Rozetta Lee, her sisters Dorothy and Florence (Boo Boo) Lee; a nephew, Lil' Will Thompson and other loved ones.

Left to cherish Tweedie's memory include her sister, Lousie "Plopsi" (Nat) Craddock; brothers, James "Yum" (Vivian) Lee, Charles "Charlie" Lee, William "Gerald" Lee, Carl Hill and Mike "Baumgard" (Denise) Hill and a host of other relatives and friends.
