David Blair Wethal was born October 28, 1953.

David was educated within the Minnesota Public Schools System. He moved to West Des Moines, Iowa with his mother in the 60s and graduated from Valley High School.

David then enlisted into the army in the 70s where he discovered his passion for cooking and later became a chef. He was a fun loving man and enjoyed hanging out with his "buddies" , playing cards and dominoes.

David passed away June 15, 2022 age 68. Preceding him in death are his mother and father, Ruby and Otha Howelton , his sisters Vera and Michelle; brothers Ronnie, Billy, and Doug; niece, Terriyon Valdez.

David leaves behind two sisters, Corrine Cleveland and Tonya Valdez-Killings; brother, Charles Cleveland, with a host of nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
