Dennis Arnell Moore

Mr. Dennis Al Moore passed away November 5, 2020. Private Services will be held in his honor.

Mr. Moore, a retired fighter for the city of Des Moines, was married on December 31, 1974 to Gaynell Butts Moore in Des Moines. From this union three children were born, Tomeika, Dennis, Jr. and DeMarko.

Dennis loved listening to music. His favorites were jazz, country, old school R&B and bluegrass. He was a former drummer and even tried to sing a little. He would often serenade his wife with 'My Sherrie Amour'. He was a great cook and grill master.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and father, Jethro and Sarah (Woods) Moore, his siblings Jethro, Jr., and Barbara Sue and his grandparents, Helen and Harry Woods.

He is survived by his wife, Gaynell; children Tomeika, Dennis Jr. and DeMarko along with 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
