Eddie Lee Hilson was born on November 13, 1958 in Glendora, Mississippi to the union of J.W. Hilson and Eddie Mae   Hilson (Moore). Eddie was educated through the Des Moines Public School System and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1976. After graduation, Eddie served in the United States Army from 1977 to 1980. 

Eddie later met Linda and they began a courtship that led to marriage where they became one on June 20, 1992. They were blessed with children. 

Eddie was the grill master during the barbeque. He would always have his Budweiser, a domino or chess game going that the family knew he would keep them  entertained with a great story.  Eddie   always knew how to keep the family together playing his 60’s and 90’s R&B music although we knew he loved to talk he was a smooth      operator with his dance moves. Sunday Night football would mean no one talking especially if his Las Vegas Raiders were playing all bets were off. 

He was preceded in death by his Mother; Eddie Mae Hilson; Fathers; John Wesley Williams, J.W. Hilson; Siblings; Little Willie John Hilson, David Lee Hilson, Cleotha Hilson, A.W. Hilson, Albert Hilson, M.C. Hilson, Leotha Hilson, Rosie (Dollie) Grayson,Aellie Gilliam,      Elizabeth Hilson, Natha Williams, Cynthia  Sanders. 

Survived to Cherish his memories are Wife, Linda Marie Hilson; Daughters; Angelique Hilson, Latasha Fuller, Siblings; Frank Miller IA, John lee Miller IA, J.W. Hilson MN, Odell Hilson MN, Michael Hilson IA, James Hilson (Jackie) IL, John Wesley Williams TN, Margaret Williams TN, Anthony Williams MS, Nancy (Sims) James MN,   Diane Hall IA, Mary Tate, Lisa.
