Leona Ruth Galbreath

Mrs. Leona Galbreath was born on March 12, 1923 in Des Moines, IA to Orfice Boyers and Martha Goodwin. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School District and graduated from East High School. She was self employed for the majority of her career, working in the domestic cleaning service industry.



Mrs. Galbreath was joined in holy matrimony to the love of her life, John Joe Galbreath. From this union they were blessed with one child, Joel Galbreath, who proceeded her in death.



Mrs. Galbreath heard the Master's call to enter from labor to rest on December 19th, 2013. She was met on the other side by her husband; her son; mother and father; sister, Kathryn Gardner; grandmother, Julie Logan; grandfather, Merle; niece, Judy Davis; Melvin 'Snooky' Crawford Sr. and Ronnie Lee Crawford.



Mrs. Galbreath leaves to cherish her memory: her family, Steven Crawford, Linda Crawford, Dorrine, Melvin Crawford Jr., Linda Clyce, Kelly Williams, Lori-Ann Shields, Keisha Hunter, Elan Crawford, Mykel Crawford, Steven Crawford, and a host of extended family, friends and church family.
