Lyn Marie Lighon Diggs was born August 11, 1960 to Sharon and Ronald Diggs, in Des Moines, Iowa.

The family moved to Denver, Colorado where Lyn attended college prior to serving in theUnited States Air Force.

Lyn was employed in Colorado by Empowerment, an outreach program for victims of domestic violence. Lyn was highly successful in her career.

Lyn was an accomplished writer with a passion and a gift for expressing her trials, triumphs, and unfailing faith in God.

Lyn was a member of Elim Christian Fellowship Church. The family extends special gratitude to the entire church family of Elim who manifested the love of God Providing Lyn encouragement, strength, and support throughout her journey.

God called Lyn home on February 2, 2013. Lyn's spirit departed this earth peacefully, surrounded by love and her family.

Lyn will be missed beyond measure. Memories will be cherished. Our hearts are comforted knowing that Lyn is safely home, and receiving the promises of God.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Sharon McGuire; sisters, Angela Larry, Teresa McGuire, Ronetta Collier, Tammy Harris-Brantley, Ruth (Sugar) Einstein, Kim, and Siree; brothers, Ronald Jr. and David Hollaway; aunts, Doris Anderson, Sandra Williams, Donna Moon, and Dyan Logan; uncles, Don Mayberry and Kent Ridge; nephews, Tyrone Larry, Trayven Shade and Kahlil Jones; nieces, Deja Greene and Ebony Greene; cousins, Barbara Canady, Terri Williams ,Tina, Mona, Ashley, Taylor, Carla Lorna and Cletus Williams; as well as many other family, extended family and friends.

The family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts, as Lyn did, for your love and support.

Chris, a devoted friend, Rosie, Darlene and Linda, your friendships were valued beyond words.

Lyn ran an amazing race. We will love you forever. You were truly a good and faithful servant to the love of your life, Jesus.

You will forever be in our hearts until we meet again. We love you.
