Matthew Manuel

Matthew passed away on August 3, 2022. Services will be held at Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ on Friday, August 12 ,2022 at 11:00 am. Full obituary to follow.

Matthew Deangelo Manuel was born September 14, 1978 in Des Moines, IA to Stephen Leroi Williams and Jacqueline Logan. Later in life he gained a bonus mom in Vicki Williams.

Matthew attended and graduated from North High School in Des Moines. When he attended church, his spirit man was fed at Tabernacle of Faith.

Matthew was a self employed contractor. Preferring to work on his own time and pace, he had many skills in taking care of things around the house. He loved spending quality time with his family. He was quite the jokester and loved making people laugh. Playing with his children, nieces and nephews was enough entertainment for him. He loved all genres of music. He even tried to rap a little. He had the beat, but not the tune. Matthew never met a hat he didnt like. You would never see him without one.

August 3, 2022, Matthew passed from this life to the next. Preceding him to the other side were his mom, Jacqueline Logan; his sister, Doniece; grandparents, Fred Akers, Delores Williams, Mae Ella Davis and Matthew Dawson; his nephews, LeOndre Manuel and Stashaun Brown.

Left to mourn his passing are his daughters, Asianna Manuel, TeAsia Manuel Johnson and MaRai McCallop; father, Stephen (Vicki) Williams; siblings, Inez Bell, Valerie Manuel, Nikeeta Manuel, Lavell Logan, Stephen Williams Jr and Shelly Quintana; and last but not least, his only grandchild, Selina Rose.
