Deacon Melvern L Butts, 81, passed away February 8, 2020.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ Apostolic Temple on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the hour of 12 noon with visitation starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Deacon Butts is survived by his wife, Beleta A Butts; his children, Melle Renee' (Charles) Sutton, Terry (Desire') Butts, Marcus (Mary Clark) Butts, Lynette Butts, Gina Butts, Carol (RIck Noyes) Butts and Nicolle Cason; his siblings Fred, Beverly, Karen, Paul and Paulette; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
