Robert Joshua

Mr. Robert Earl Joshua was born on September 27, 1958 in Lubbock, TX to Edward and Bertha (Royal) Joshua. He attended school in Fort Worth, TX and graduated from Kirkpatrick High School.

Mr. Joshua worked at Plain's Processing for many years to support his family; even relocating when the plant moved to Waterloo. He had seven children who he loved dearly: Kennis, Jason, Sherri, Jeremiah, Sierra, Savory and Robert.

When Robert had free time, he enjoyed dancing, listening to Michael Jackson and other old school R&B singers and rooting for his Dallas Cowboys. He was also known for his sense of style. He was always the best looking in the room and would often top things off with a sharp hat.

Mr. Joshua passed from time into eternity on March 1, 2014. He was greeted on the other side by his parents, Edward and Bertha Joshua; his brother, Kennis Joshua and a sister, Gwendolyn Davis.

Left to cherish Robert's memory are his children, Kennis Higham, Jason Higham, Sherri Joshua, Jeremiah Joshua all of Waterloo, IA; Sierra Thomas, Savory Thomas and Robert Smith of Des Moines, IA; his 13 grandchildren and his siblings, Mary Majors, Rev. Jarvis Joshua and a host of other relatives and friends.
