Safire Renee Robinson was born April 5, 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa to Homer "Dog" Robinson and Necole Hellems. Tragically Safires mother passed away shortly after her birth.
Safire was educated in the Des Moines Public School system and graduated from Scavo High School. This was a challenging accomplishment as she suffered from Sickle Cell disease. She worked several jobs but couldnt maintain them because of the disease.
Safire didnt let Sickle Cell define her. She was totally a Fashionista, loving all things fashion and make up. She would dress up to go to the grocery store. She not only dressed herself, but liked being other peoples stylist. Safire loved nothing better than to hang out with her daughter, playing hair and makeup. She and her posse PGS (Pretty Girls Swag) would hang out, singing their favorite hip hop and R&B songs. Safire loved to eat, but she was a 2nd generation non-cooking person. But she could really bake.
And suddenly she was gone! Safire passed away on October 12, 2019. She was only 27 years old. There was a reunion in Heaven with her mother, Necole; her sister, Gabrielle and her brother, Marion Harris.
Left to cherish Safires memory are her daughter, Massayha Marcelline Peacola Dunnigan; Massayhas father, Kevonne Dunnigan; her siblings, Almeta Sumlin, Lasharee Robinson, Dashaun Robinson, Nyelah Robinson, Chevelle Robinson, Jamya Robinnson, Charnell Harris, Tony Robinson, Asia Robinson, Sabrina Robinson, Candice Robinson, Caydence Robinson, Jarron Johnson, Chanee Johnson Carla Sunkle, DeMarco Sunkle and Desiree Johnson; her grandmothers, Constance Bowen and Helen Robinson; grandfather, Johnny L Miller; aunts, Tiffany Robinson, Joyce Webster, Vickie Sumlin, Obie Sumlin, and Donyell Bailey-Hellems; uncles, Britt Hellems, Sr, Harold Webster, James Henderson, Johnny L Hellems, Sr,, Roman Deon Hellems, Sr,, Tommy Johnson, Avery Scott and Raytheon Bannum Sr. along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
