Shakuir Gipson

Shakuir passed away on April 1, 2023. Funeral services are planned for Thrusday, April 13, 2023 at the Henderson's Chapel starting at 1:00pm. 

Shakuir Gipson was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 13, 1997. He was born to Earlene Gipson and Kelly Madison. Shakuir was educated through the Omaha Public School System, where he went to Northwest High School. Shakuir worked at Amazon as a warehouse associate.

Shakuir Gipson went by the name Kuda. He was brutally honest and very smart. To know Shakuir is to love him. He was happy and loving to be around. He loved to joke around with his family. Shakuir loved hard. He was loyal to his brothers and would go to war for his siblings. Shakuir loved learning how to cook and he loved to eat. He also enjoyed playing basketball, piano and making music. He loved all kinds of poetry and songs. He also liked to look good.

Shakuir Gipson passed away on April 1, 2023. He preceded in death by sister, Bryeonna Gipson; cousin, Johntrail Gipson; uncle, Mack Gipson; grandmother, Mary Jo Madison and Oscar Reynolds.

Left to cherish Shakuir in memory are parents, Earlene Gipson (David) and Kelly Madison; siblings, Craidarius, Deontaye, Ronasia, David Jr., Symphanie, Blessed, Kadashia Madison, Kelly Madision Jr., Ke’Ayla Madison Jr., Kalaya Madison; grandmother, Patee Jones (Gordon) and grandfather, Benjamin Edwards.
