Sheri Diane Slayden

Sheri Diane Slayden was born to Wayne Lester Slayden Jr. and Susanne Michael on November 13, 1984, in Two Harbors, Minnesota. The family would later relocate to Des Moines, Iowa, to make their home. Sheri was raised and educated in the area, graduating from Saydel High School with the class of 2002. Following her primary education, Sheri entered the workforce. She enjoyed drawing and was a talented artist. Sheri also enjoyed being outdoor and in nature. She had a big heart, and loved to help others and spend time with her children.

On September 2, 2020, Sheri stepped from time into eternity.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Susanne Michael.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chrystal, and Lucian Slayden; father, Wayne Jr.; siblings, Wayne III, Benjamin, Kristi and Britney; grandfather, Wayne Sr. as well as a host of extended family and close friends.
