Thayne Joseph Wright

Thayne Joseph Wright (TJ) was born on July 9 2004 in Des Moines, Iowa to Courtney Wright and Ashley Partee.

He was a student at Lincoln High School in Des Moines, Iowa where he cultivated an interest in Marine Biology. Thayne was the middle child, a loving and respectful young man who played video games, enjoyed music and eating! He was always on the move and liked camping and riding four-wheelers. His biggest joy in life was making people happy. Naturally, he was drawn to his friendships and of course, hanging with his grandmas. On occasion you could find him playing with his Nerf Guns or immersed in a game of laser tag.

On January 30 2020, Thayne was tragically taken from us way too soon. He was greeted on the other side by his baby sister, DeKaelyn Reigh; grandfathers, Jeff Partee, Jerell Brown; grandmother, Bertina Wright; great-grandmothers, Mary Partee, Sherry Sanford, Josephine Wright; great-grandfathers Joseph D. Rowe, Charles D. Wright; great uncle, Michael T. Rowe, great aunt, Yolanda G. Miller.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Courtney (Jessica) Wright and Ashley Partee; siblings, Autumn Harper, Taeriah Harper, LaCola Wright, Kourtlyn Wright, Courtney Wright Jr. and DeVauri Wright; grandparents, Karen Brown, Billy Wright, Julie Partee, Michael (Robyn) White, Dena (David) Burkett and a host great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins extended family and close friends.
